The Quietus Presents: Cold Cave

Lexington gig this April

We’ve been massive fans of New York’s synth darklords since the first hisses and growls of their brilliant Cremations compilation. If their first album proper Love Comes Close was cold wave finesse, then new record Cherish The Light Years is a massive leap forward into stadium pop territory, and ought to see Cold Cave reaching an all new audience – eg. fans of Editors et al who’ve realised that their gloom washes out in the wash. Anyway, we’re going to be putting on Cold Cave at the Lexingotn, London on April 5th, and we imagine that you’ll be wanting to go here to get tickets ASAP, as there’s only a few and they will go quick sharp. Support TBC. Cherish The Light Years is released via Matador on April 5th, and you can get hold of lead track ‘The Great Pan Is Dead’ for free here.
