After the rip-roaring success of the first Quietus Caper we’re returning to the Mucky Pup in Islington, North London to play tunes, drink fierce mugs of tea and quaff ales.
Luke and John, pictured above, undergoing a post Wire in Belgium rapture, will be playing the best of new and nearly new music including tracks by the following:
Depeche Mode, Telepathe, Mountains, Navvy, SunnO))), Chops, Crystal Stilts, Sleeping States, Morrissey, The Prodigy, Micachu, Aidan Moffatt, Spider and the Flies, Candi Staton, OSKAR, selections from all the bands featured in the Reynolds Post-Punk tome, Suicide covers, 23 Skidoo, Zombie Nation, PJ Harvey and John Parrish, MF Doom, Antony and the Johnsons, Action Beat, Lily Allen, St Etienne, Erasure, Women, Franz Ferdinand, 1990s, Diplo, Dalek, The Only Ones, Magazine, Godflesh, Beirut, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
The music starts at about 8pm and we get kicked out some time the next morning. Come and say hello!
