WATCH: Quietus At Leisure Trailer

Three of our films on musician's hobbies to screen at London Short Film Festival in support of Teeth Of The Sea

We’re pleased to announce that a forthcoming series of documentaries from The Quietus will premiere at this year’s London Short Film Festival, which takes place in January. Over the past year, Luke Turner and director Ethan Reid have been working on a new series of films called The Quietus At Leisure, looking at what musicians get up to in their spare time. The first three films will be shown at Hackney Picturehouse on Wednesday January 15th. We’ll be screening Stephen Morris discussing his collection of military vehicles (trailer above), Cosey Fanni Tutti on vegetable gardening, and one other TBC. The Quietus is also very chuffed that this is essentially a support slot for the mighty Teeth Of The Sea, who will be performing their soundtrack to a ‘remixed’ version of Ben Wheatley’s A Field In England, commissioned by the Cork Film Festival earlier this year. You can buy tickets here.
