The Pre New Set For Idle Fret Birthday Party

Neils Children, Joseph Coward, Saint Etienne DJ set and more for record label bash

Quietus favourites The Pre New will be headlining London label/club night Idle Fret’s third birthday party, taking place at Camden’s Lock Tavern on July 7.

We last heard them mutating 2012’s very fine Music For People Who Hate Themselves for the new mixes/live versions album Music For Homeowners: The Pre Mix, which they released in February – stream Saint Etienne’s remix of ‘Hair’ from the album at the foot of the piece.

They’ll be joined by Neils Children, Evans The Death and Joseph Coward and a whole rafter of DJs, headed up by the aforementioned Saint Etienne’s Pete Wiggs and Steroid Abuse’s John Sweeney, alongside Ian Fielder, Sophia Cheema and Idle Fret themselves.

Proceedings kick off at 3pm, it’s free entry and it’s a Sunday, so we can’t think of a better place to while away the hours comes July 7 – head over to the Facebook page for full information.
