The Killers To Split?

Band want temporary break, claims tabloid journalist

The Killers are apparently so “sick of the sight of each other” that they are considering taking a break from the band.

The pressures of touring are beginning to strain relations within the Las Vegas quartet, claims a report in The Daily Mirror. Ready for the source?

“They’re exhausted,” a source told the ‘paper. “They haven’t had a break since they first formed and it has started getting to them.

“When they started out they were all good friends,” the article continues, “but they just don’t seem to get on any more. They are sick of the sight of each other.

“Brandon [Flowers, frontman] tries to be a peacemaker but when he loses it the whole band falls apart.”

As hilarious as the idea of Flowers losing it is, it seems that rather than call it a day the four are considering a hiatus.

“They know taking a break could damage their career but they can’t see a way out and they don’t want to split.”

Inevitably a spokesperson for The Killers has claimed the band are getting on “fine”. Who do you believe?
