The Icarus Line: New Mini Album

Avowed Slavery slated for release in July

The Icarus Line have announced a new record, due later this summer. Not to be mistaken for a "follow-up" to last year’s excellent Slave Vows the band tell us, this new five-track collection, containing live favourites ‘Junkadelic’ and ‘Salem Slims’, is more like "the other arm getting a shot". Due for release on July 2 through Agitated Records, Avowed Slavery is the companion release to the 2013 record, serving as a "booster pack" for its predecessor.

We’ve long been big fans of the band, with tQ reviewer Stevie Chick calling Slave Vows a "masterpiece". With the new release set to complete "this particular circle of fury", we’re expecting good things, the band assuring us "the fire in the band’s belly is roaring".
