Following The Hold Steady’s announcement of their return with a new album, Teeth Dreams, out on March 24 via Washington Square Records, we’ve got an exclusive first look at a video interview with lead singer Craig Finn talking about their sixth record. Finn explains that the new release will be a meditation on anxiety and truth, ideas sparked by the managed self-representations of social media, saying: "The difference between what we want and what we are can be filled in with anxiety." He adds that it will be less character-driven than their earlier records and that while the songs will remain story-based, they will be more like tales from a modern age.
