Following a string of collaborative releases – including 2009’s excellent Inspiration Information with Mulatu Astatke- London-based psychedelic jazz collective The Heliocentrics are poised to release their second album 13 Degrees Of Reality, the follow up to their 2006 debut It’s Out There. Over four years in the making, Now-Again Records will release their sophomore effort on April 30, and for those who can’t wait until then, you can listen to ‘Mr. Owusu, I Presume’ – a steaming slice of hallucinatory oddball jazz-funk – below:
