In May 1983, The Fall performed live at ‘Speed Trials’, a five day festival at New York City’s White Columns space, on a bill which also featured the likes of Sonic Youth, Lydia Lunch and Beastie Boys.
Now, new and unseen footage of the band performing ‘Tempo House’ at that show has emerged, which you can watch above.
The clip was unearthed by Marco Posia, the director of the upcoming Swans documentary Where Does A Body End?. It was filmed by Richard Dallett.
Though an audio version of the performance has been available as part of a vinyl compilation of artists performing at Speed Trials, the video footage of MES and co. has remained buried until now.
