The Fall Karaoke Is Coming To Manchester

You Are Mark E. Smith arrives in Manchester following previous London event

Earlier this year, the first The Fall-themed karaoke was held at The Brewhouse in London, marking Mark E. Smith’s 60th birthday, with yours truly involved in hosting duties.

Now, You Are Mark E. Smith travels north for one night only with an event scheduled in at Manchester’s Night and Day Cafe on June 24, taking place in the year that marks four decades of the band. Once again, The Fallen Women will act as the backing band while you can join them on stage and assume the role of frontman or frontwoman.

The set list at the London event included ‘Eat Y’Self Fitter’, ‘Repetition’, ‘Blindness’, ‘New Face In Hell’, ‘Touch Sensitive’ and a bunch more, while there are also DJs lined up for the night to play other The Fall classics. You can find more information here and get tickets here.

Meanwhile, The Fall themselves have today been announced to play London’s The 100 Club for the first time ever this July. Find out more information here.
