LISTEN: The Ex – How Thick You Think

First play of new single ahead of live dates and anniversary festival

Dutch masters The Ex are heading out on a UK tour in April (have a look at the dates below), preceded by hosting their own festival, featuring themselves, Thurston Moore, Peter Brötzmann, Fendika, Han Bennink and more yet to be confirmed, running a five-date tour of the Netherlands in late February/early March. Before that, though, they’ll be releasing a new 7" single, featuring the tracks ‘How Thick You Think’ and ‘That’s Not A Virus’. It’s out on Monday, January 27, and we’ve got a first listen to the A-side, which the band explain is inspired by both Norman McLaren’s 1952 film Neighbours and a painting by 20th century Dutch artist Lucebert; stream it below and scroll down for the live dates:
