This weekend, cult Chilean-French director Alejandro Jodorowsky premiered a new film, The Dance Of Reality, at the Cannes Film Festival – have a watch of the trailer above [via Indiewire].
It’s the first new film Jodorowsky, the director of loopy 70s masterpieces El Topo and The Holy Mountain, has made since The Rainbow Thief in 1990, and is based around his autobiography of the same name, set in the Chilean town where he grew up.
In other news, Jodorowsky’s Dune, a documentary about his aborted attempt to film the Frank Herbert novel in the seventies, is also premiering at the festival – have a watch of a teaser below:
