For a while one of tQ’s favourite new bands, The Cool Greenhouse are currently gearing up to release their self-titled debut album on May 29.

Ahead of the release, tQ is thrilled to be premiering the latest taste of said record in the form of the single ‘Life Advice’, which finds frontman Tom Greenhouse on superbly acerbic form as he helms a hypnotic, spiky and repetitious instrumental.

On the evidence of this, previous single ‘The Sticks’ and tQ approved 2019 EP Crap Cardboard Pet, The Cool Greenhouse’s debut is not to be passed by.

Produced and mixed by Phil Booth over a week at an old potato-packing warehouse outside Nottingham, it’s released on May 29 via Melodic, and is available for pre-order here.

300 limited transparent green vinyl copies are available, and they come with an envelope containing mystery seeds. The first person to germinate their seeds and send the label a picture of their plant will receive the original album cover painting, while the person to grow the tallest plant by the end of the year will receive an exclusive mystery prize.
