The Museum Of London have announced The Clash: London Calling exhibition which is a free to visit display of over 100 items from the band’s archive.
To celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the release of their most famous album London Calling and includes such artefacts as hand written lyrics, photographs, stage clothes, films and instruments.
The exhibition opens on November 15 and runs until Spring 2020.
To coincide with the exhibition will publish the 120 page long London Calling Scrapbook which comes with the album on cd and contains hand-written lyrics, notes, photos and previously unseen material from the period when the record was made. The album is also being reissued on October 11.
