A documentary about the making of The Charlatans’ Tellin’ Stories album is being released on DVD May 6 to mark the 15th anniversary of the LP’s release.
Titled Mountain Picnic Blues, the DVD will include a recent live performance of the album and a history of its creation in 1997 with interviews with all band members – watch the trailer above.
The band’s official online store are offering a limited edition deluxe package which will contain never-before-seen photos of the band in 1997 and a limited number of copies will be signed by the band themselves. Pre-order the DVD here.
During the week of release, screenings of the DVD will be held in London and Manchester. Details are yet to be announced, so watch this space.
