WATCH: New The Caretaker Teaser

The Caretaker is back for the third instalment of his series exploring dementia through music

Speaking to tQ a year ago this month, Leyland Kirby revealed details of how he planned to give his The Caretaker project dementia over the course of six albums to be released over three years.

Two of those albums have followed since, and now he is ready to release the third of the six albums with a date set for its release of September 28. He has also shared a curious teaser trailer, called ‘We, so tired of all the darkness in our lives’, ahead of the release, which you can watch above.

You can read our interview with Leyland Kirby from late last year, about his intentions for giving The Caretaker dementia, here. Kirby plays London’s Barbican on December 8 as part of an event organised by Unsound, which also features NIVEH (a project of Grouper) & MFO on the bill. Tickets and more details for that event can be found here.
