The Breeders Reveal ‘Last Splash’ Reissue

The album has been remastered from its original analogue tapes to mark its 30th anniversary

The Breeders are reissuing their 1993 album Last Splash.

Marking its 30th anniversary, all of the album’s 15 tracks have been newly remastered from the original analogue tapes for the updated release, while it will also feature two recently unearthed archive tracks. You can watch a video for one of them, a track called ‘Go Man Go’ which Kim Deal and Black Francis wrote together, above.

The reissue of the band’s second album will be made available digitally, as well as on vinyl. The band will also tour the US through September and October to play Last Splash in its entirety. Find full details of the upcoming shows here.

4AD will release Last Splash (30th Anniversary Original Analog Edition) on September 22, 2023.
