The Body To Release New Album, ‘I’ve Seen All I Need To See’

It's out in January

The Body have a new album on the way.

Titled I’ve Seen All I Need To See, it follows on from a number of collaborative projects with acts such as Whitehorse and Uniform, as well as the duo’s last album, 2018’s I Have Fought Against It, But I Can’t Any Longer. Below, you can listen to lead track ‘A Lament’, which opens the new album.

Where previous albums have seen the duo team up with a number of other artists, guests feature sparingly on I’ve Seen All I Need To See, which takes in contributions from vocalist/pianist Chrissy Wolpert and vocalist Ben Eberle.

Engineer Seth Manchester describes the album as "a meditation on distortion," adding that they "tried pushing the limits of each piece of gear in the studio to hear what its breaking point sounded like and then recorded it."

Thrill Jockey will release I’ve Seen All I Need To See on January 29, 2021.
