Steve Gullick’s tenebrous LIAR project is back with a new album out today (June 16) called The Cut. Above you can watch the video for ‘John’ which features on the album.
Tenebrous LIAR is the musical project of photographer Steve Gullick, known for photographing acts like Nirvana and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. It started as a solo home recording venture and has grown into a full-fledged band, currently comprising Brendan Casey on bass, Ben Edgar on drums and Gullick on guitar and vocals.
The Cut is tenebrous LIAR’s first LP in five years, following the release of the three-track Turn It On EP last December and was recorded in Coventry as well as in Gullick’s home starting last year.
