Tenebrous – The Photography of Steve Gullick

From Nick Cave through to Jack White via Kurt Cobain, Steve Gullick has photographed all the leading and most interesting figures of the last two decades of alternative music " and now this is being celebrated in a new exhibition called Tenebrous.

The show runs from April 2 to May 13 at the Rough Trade East shop in Dray Walk, The Old Truman’s Brewery, near Brick Lane in East London and will feature iconic and groundbreaking portraits and live shots of artists like Ed Harcourt, The Raconteurs, Sonic Youth and Kim Deal.

Each of the images will be available to buy and is limited to a run of 25 prints.

Recently The Quietus had the pleasure of going out on the lash with Steve and recorded the ensuing conversation " from David Yow’s, ahem, Komodo Dragon, to having tattoo races with Ed Harcourt to the memory of happier times with Nirvana " is available as a podcast below.
