First look at the video for the band's debut single; tour dates below

Ascendant London four-piece Telegram have announced that they’ll be releasing their debut single, ‘Follow’, on November 4 through their own label, GramGram.

The band haven’t been around for long, only forming earlier this year, but they’ve been building a reputation through some ace London shows (as well as a recent support slot for the Manic Street Preachers in Newport) and a session for Marc Riley on 6 Music, and they’re set for a lengthy run of live dates beginning next month in support of Bo Ningen, Temples and Palma Violets.

‘Follow’, which will be backed with ‘Under The Night Time’ shares some of the motorik propulsion of fellow Londoners Toy, which isn’t surprising given that they share a producer in Dan Carey, who adds his deft touch to the band’s breakneck hurtle towards the track’s wah’ed-out, psych-mesh of a climax. Further giving the lie to the band’s self-description as dealers of "cracked, crepuscular canticles", singer Matt Saunders adds in a vocal line that taps into the cut’s momentum, laden with post-punk-esque urgency and dealing out a telling sign-off with "…and there’s no slowing down!", forging a cut that motors ahead in burning, sun-blanched daylight.
