Technics has unveiled a new limited edition addition to its iconic SL-1200 turntable series.
The new SL-1200M7L model has been produced to mark the 50th anniversary of the SL-1200 line of turntables, and will be available in seven colours: beige, black, blue, green, red, white and yellow. It will be limited to 12,000 units worldwide, and includes special features, such as an anodised gold tonearm and an engraved badge with serial number. Each unit will also come with a slipmat with gold logo.
The SL-1200M7L retails for £899, and is available now. Find more information here. Its unveiling follows on from other new turntables launched by the company in 2021, such as the audiophile-focused SL-1210G and the "entry level" SL-100C, which was designed for home listening.
