A documentary about Tangerine Dream funded by a Kickstarter campaign has hit its target and is now in the works.
As FACT reports, the film, which is currently untitled, is being made in tribute to founding member Edgar Froese, who died last year, aged 70. It will take in interviews with friends and artists they influenced in order to look at the history and work of the group.
The documentary’s makers say it is their desire to “uncover the band’s musical evolution, their style and their philosophy behind their art”. You can find out more details here.
