Tuareg desert rockers Tamikrest return to the UK later this month for a nine-date tour. The Malian group’s dates are in support of last year’s Chatma album, their third LP, dedicated to the "the courage of the Tuareg women", the ‘sisters’ of the album title. The Quietus said about the album: "Their distinct blend of hypnotic African blues provides a glimpse into another world with profound concerns about the fate of their people, nomadically shifting across the desert in search of an elusive peace."
