As we’ve previously reported, Fat White ‘Wet Hot Beef’ Family are releasing a split EP with Taman Shud on Christmas Day, out via Trashmouth Records. We’ve now got a first look at the video for the first of the latter’s two tracks, ‘The Ziggurat, A Mirage’, a fitting title for a band who say they were formed in the Marianas Trench and cite Egyptology, Crom Cruach and Mokele-mbembe (Google ’em) as influences. They launched the EP on Tuesday, supporting the Fat White Family at London’s 100 Club, where tQ’s Luke Turner says they sounded like a between "Om, Lightning Bolt and The Fall", so bathe in that three-way split above.
