Anthony Child, otherwise known as UK techno producer Surgeon, will release an album recorded on the Hawaiian island of Maui on Editions Mego in November. You can listen to a track from the album, called ‘All Around And Inside’ above.
The album, entitled Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle Vol. 1, was recorded between January 21 and February 8 of this year on the island using his modular synth. His label have described the creative process as an “exercise in concentration and trance”. The album release marks Child’s first since 2013’s The Space Between People and Things. It is out on November 13.
