Supersonic Gets Second Stage & Adds Names

Evil Blizzard, Alien Whale, Rattle and more added to Birmingham festival next month; more tickets available

Since selling out all its allotted tickets, Birmingham-based avant-garde festival Supersonic, in its new Ltd Edt two-day guise running from May 30-31, has expanded its operation, announcing a second stage in a brand new venue, along with a slew of freshly confirmed bands. After learning the event was fully subscribed, the curators Capsule discovered a new venue space, Alfie Birds, opening up at the Custard Factory. Capsule have made available another 200 tickets at £50, which you can get your hands on here.

The foundation-shaking, anarchic likes of Evil Blizzard, Alien Whale, Rattle, Opium Lord, Backwards, Khünnt and ANTA shall be supplementing the already belting line-up that features tQ favourites Swans, Wolf Eyes, Matmos, Sleaford Mods, plus many more. In the meantime, whet your appetite with this slab of live filth from be-masked cosmic journeyers, Evil Blizzard:
