Sunderland’s Boundaries Festival Returns for 2024

UKAEA and Natalia Beylis are among the acts set to play the experimental music event later this year

Sunderland’s Boundaries Festival is set to return for its fourth edition this November.

Taking place across two days at events space The Peacock, this year’s event will take in a global lineup of artists exploring various avenues of experimental music. Among them are UKAEA, Natalia Beylis, American composer Arnold Dreyblatt, Iranian electronic music producer Rojin Sharafi, Mexican violinist Gibrana Cervantes and Mexican electronic musician Concepción Huerta.

The festival’s first lineup announcement is rounded off by Irish percussionist Willie Stewart, Taiwanese-American vocalist Audrey Chen, Norwegian trombonist Henrik Nørstebø, Scottish improviser Ali Robertson and saxophone-samples duo Breathing Heavy.

Further names will be added to the bill in the coming months.

Boundaries Festival will take place from November 22 to 23, 2024. Find more information here.
