Afro, disco, funk and soul label Strut Records are hosting a boat party on the Tamesis Dock, London, on 25th September, featuring DJs Duncan Brooker (curator of several Strut compilations), Toni Rossano, Christine Indigo (Soul Jazz/Strut) and Bill Brewster (DJ History/Lowlife). It’s looking like quite the voyage, promising ‘a wide range of infectious archive grooves for the dancefloor, from rare Afro gems to jazz grooves, funky rock, psychedelic soul, disco and funk,’ as well as visuals and rare archive footage.
