Last week, Not Waving, the remote viewing-inspired project of Alessio Natalizia, one half of electronics duo Walls and the man responsible for last year’s excellent Mutazione, made its live debut at London’s Plastic People. It came as part of a showcase by Emotional Response, the label that earlier this month released Not Waving’s second album, Human Capabilities. We’ve got a first play of the set, which finds Natalizia knitting the gauzy synth work of last year’s Umwelt (have a read of our interview with him around the time of the album’s release here) over the churn and thump of the more overtly industrial direction he’s pursuing on the new album – listen in full above and keep an eye on the site for further Not Waving coverage.
