The weary trend for cash-in reformations looks set to continue into 2009as Mani has today stated that it would be the "ideal time" for the band to reform.
2009 will mark 20 years since the release of The Stone Roses eponymous debut and according to the groups low-ender, who currently lines up for Primal Scream, three quarters of the band are happy to reunite, with only front man Ian Brown holding out.
Speaking to internet TV site Channelbee, Mani urged fans to campaign for the reunion, stating: “Next year is the 20th anniversary of the first album – It’s an ideal time to do it.
“It’s something I would love to do before we are all fat and bald. Start the campaign.” Does Mani not possess a mirror?
