Steve Gunn, former member of Kurt Vile’s backing band The Violators, is readying a new album due for release next month on Paradise of Bachelors and ahead of it, we have the video premiere for the album’s title track, ‘Way Out Weather’, above.
The pastoral six-minute clip collects footage from a road trip across Mongolia by photographer and director KT Auleta, who also worked on the album’s cover. Way Out Weather, the album, mostly written while on tour, is out on October 6 and follows 2013’s acclaimed Time Off, Gunn’s first full-band album. He is also lined up to support The War On Drugs on several European tour dates this October and November including UK shows at Liverpool’s O2 Academy (November 4), London’s Roundhouse, 5, Bristol’s O2 Academy, 6, The Ritz in Manchester, 7, and the O2 ABC in Glasgow, 8.
