Stephen O’Malley has a new live album on the way.
Titled Auflösung der Zeit, the Sunn O))) member’s latest record was recorded during his live performance at visual arts institution LE BAL in Paris during May of 2018. You can hear an excerpt above.
The performance, a press release from Editions Mego explains, was produced within the context of The Guidebook of Church Burners book’s release. That book explores black metal iconography and the history of the genre, while O’Malley’s recording is dedicated to Romanian composer Iancu Dumitrescu.
Editions Mego will release Auflösung der Zeit on March 13.
