Plus! Festival date for a fiver

Stealing Sheep have recorded an Obscenic session for their single ‘Shut Eye’, which debuted in May in a Hollyoaks advert. The session features the band accompanied by a crowd of instrument-laden fans/friends/trumpeteers singing and dancing in a courtyard.

The Liverpudlian three-piece met in a shop where vocalist Becky was working at the time, and after swapping records and talking about music for a few months, started the band. After starting to write together in 2010, and releasing a ‘mini-album’ late last year called Noah and the Paper Moon, the band are working on their as-yet-untitled album, due later this year.

The session is accompanied by the announcement of a live show at Kazimier Garden Gathering in Liverpool. The Gathering will also feature live performances from White Bicycles and By The Sea. Tickets for the event cost £5 and are available on the day.
