Stay Beautiful Club Shutting Down

Disco-dollies will need a new place to play...

Stay Beautiful – the London club dedicated to glitter, eyeliner and feather boa-wearing glam subculture – will play its final song on August 1 after eight magnificently debauched years.

The flamboyant disco was started by Quietus writer and Independent on Sunday pop critic Simon Price to cater for a hardcore group of glamarous thril-seekers, but will now say goodbye at a special party.

The August 1 bash will be held at the Purple Turtle and will feature music from all of Stay Beautiful’s regular DJs starting from 9pm.

The Quietus implores you to head along and raise a farwell glass to the demise of one of London’s best nights out.
