St. Vincent: New Video & Tour

4AD songwriter to tour with full band in November & December, coinciding with new album Strange Mercy

St. Vincent has announced a UK & European tour this November and December, to coincide with the release of her new album Strange Mercy, due for release through 4AD on 12th September. She’ll be performing alongside a full band, consisting of Toko Yasuda (Blonde Redhead, Enon) on mini moog, Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright) on drums and Daniel Mintseris (Marianne Faithful) on keyboards.

New track ‘Surgeon’ is available to stream in advance of the album’s release, and finds her band gradually losing the plot, culminating in a monstrous, jazzy hissy fit.

November 12 – The Deaf Institute, Manchester

November 13 – Whelan’s, Dublin

November 15 – Stereo, Glasgow

November 16 – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds

November 18 – Crossing Border Festival, Hague

November 19 – Luxor, Koln

November 20 – Crossing Border Festival, Antwerp

November 23 – Teatro Dal Verme, Milan 

November 29 – El Lokal, Zurich

 

December 2 – Frannz Club, Berlin

December 3 – Indra, Hamburg
