St. Vincent has announced a UK & European tour this November and December, to coincide with the release of her new album Strange Mercy, due for release through 4AD on 12th September. She’ll be performing alongside a full band, consisting of Toko Yasuda (Blonde Redhead, Enon) on mini moog, Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright) on drums and Daniel Mintseris (Marianne Faithful)Â on keyboards.
New track ‘Surgeon’ is available to stream in advance of the album’s release, and finds her band gradually losing the plot, culminating in a monstrous, jazzy hissy fit.
