Dalhous, Paul Jebanasam In Hackney

Scottish electronics duo and Bristol dark ambient man join Wolfgang Voigt at next Thursday's St John Session

Next Thursday, May 22, will see Wolfgang Voigt make his first UK appearance since 2009, performing his Rückverzauberung show at the excellent St John Sessions at St. John’s Church in Hackney, London.

Voigt will also be joined by Edinburgh duo Dalhous, who released a new five-track EP, Visibility Is A Trap, of their creeping, haunted electro-acoustic compositions through Blackest Ever Black last month. Read our feature with them, from around the time of last year’s An Ambassador For Laing, here. Kicking off the night is Bristol-based musician and Subtext label boss, Paul Jebanasam, who debuted his full-length album, Rites, a collection of "ritual industrial music" as we called it when we interviewed him, last year.

Check out some clips of Dalhous’ EP below, with Jebanasam’s Rites in full after, and head to St John Sessions’ website to get hold of tickets.
