St John Sessions’ Final Line-Up Announced

Julia Holter, Wolfgang Voigt & more join Rhys Chatham, Charlemagne Palestine, William Basinski and Laurel Halo for the Hackney event

St John’s Sessions, the excellent series of electronic and experimental music events held in St. John’s Church in Hackney, have just announced their final line-up for 2014. There are a few spaces still to be filled, but it’s an eye-watering offering as it stands, running the full gamut of Quietus favourites from the avant-garde compositions of Rhys Chatham and Charlemagne Palestine, joined on the bill by none less than William Basinski next month, to a sterling showing of dark-hued electronics, featuring Laurel Halo, Shackleton and Demdike Stare in June.
