St John’s Sessions, the excellent series of electronic and experimental music events held in St. John’s Church in Hackney, have just announced their final line-up for 2014. There are a few spaces still to be filled, but it’s an eye-watering offering as it stands, running the full gamut of Quietus favourites from the avant-garde compositions of Rhys Chatham and Charlemagne Palestine, joined on the bill by none less than William Basinski next month, to a sterling showing of dark-hued electronics, featuring Laurel Halo, Shackleton and Demdike Stare in June.
