Special Interest have shared details of their third studio album, Endure, which is their first full-length for new label Rough Trade.
The 11-track album was self-produced and recorded at HighTower in New Orleans, and its announcement follows on from the release in May of lead track ‘(Herman’s) House’. The band have also shared a new single, called ‘Midnight Legend’, which features Mykki Blanco. You can watch a video for the track above.
Speaking about the new track in a statement, Special Interest’s Alli Logout said: "[It’s] a love song to all the girls leaving the club at 6am, a love song to everybody who doesn’t have love around them. The ways we numb ourselves or participate in high-risk behaviour because we all feel so isolated and alone is also very much enabled by clubs, institutions, and party ‘friends’. This song is about listening to people who never actually get heard."
Rough Trade will release Endure on November 4, 2022.
