Sonisphere have just announced the next wave of acts to join previously-announced headliners The Prodigy, Iron Maiden and Metallica, and it’s making for a mightily impressive line-up. Not only will long-term Quietus favourites Slayer be on the bill, but they’ll be joined by mysterious Swedish ghouls Ghost, grunge veterans Alice In Chains, Atlanta heavyweights Mastodon, Airbourne, Gojira and Karnivool.
Says Slayer guitarist Kerry King: "Great to be back at Sonisphere this year!! Always a giant party!!!” The festival takes place at Knebworth House, marking 40 years of festivals at the venue, from July 4-6; head to the festival’s website for tickets.
