Sonic Youth’s New Album Out In June

New Yorkers plot indie return

Sonic Youth have announced that their next album, their debut release via Matador Records, will come out in June.

The album, which has the working title The Eternal, will be the first Sonic Youth long-player since Rather Ripped in 2006.

Thurston Moore recently promised Uncut magazine the The Eternal would feature music that is both "juicy" and "supersonic".
