Masters At Work
Sónar festival today has added the final names to the lineup for this year’s festival, including a 6-hour set from Masters At Work.
The other names added to the line-up are; Derrick Carter, Yves Tumor, Sturla Atlas, Kablam, Toxe, Juan Ingaramo and Zutzut & Imaabs.
The organisers say that the inclusion of Masters At Work for a 6-hour set "further consolidates the renewed Sónar by Night philosophy to provide a space for long journeying sets that explore the history of dance music and electronica."
They join more than 140 performers already announced including Justice, Arca & Jesse Kanda, Soulwax, DJ Shadow, Nicolas Jaar, Moderat, Eric Prydz, De La Soul, Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals, Vitalic, DAWN, Thundercat, and Jon Hopkins.
The festival takes place across Barcelona, and this year will introduce a ninth stage, SonarXS, promising “the freshest, most irreverent and extreme electronic music and street sounds.”
The festival will again run alongside Sónar+D, Sónar’s Conference of Creative Technologies, that brings speakers and professionals from design, music and technology, to the city from July 14.
Sónar 2017 runs from July 15 to July 17, more information and the full lineup can be found here.
