Soap&Skin – aka 22-year-old Austrian Anja Plaschg – is one of the most interesting artists emerging in Europe today. Her second album Narrow, out via PIAS on Monday, March 19th, builds on the sounds of her debut Lovetune For Vacuum with a richer palette of sounds and textures. You’ll only have to listen to her Quietus mix, due this Thursday, to understand Plaschg’s interest in and influence from industrial noise.
