Banana 101.5 FM’s website reports a particularly righteous competition the radio station are running for Slayer fans in the Detroit area. Head along to the University of Michigan-Flint Happenings Room today until 4.45 pm (EST) to donate blood and you can enter a draw to win one of ten pairs of tickets to the band’s show at The Fillmore in the city this Saturday, November 16. If you thought that was good, they’ve even named the event ‘Raining Blood’.
They say: "So grab some friends, donate some blood to help out the American Red Cross, and sign up for a chance to see Slayer. As a bonus, we just found out that the Slayer set that night will consist entirely of old school Slayer classics and big hits, none of the new stuff to get in the way. Just the badass Slayer show that you’ve always wanted to see!"
