Producing meditative punk since 2005, Sweden’s The Skull Defekts are gearing up to release their new album Dances In Dreams Of The Known Unknown, which sees them collaborating with Baltimore hardcore guru Daniel Higgs of Lungfish on vocals and is out on April 8 via Thrill Jockey.
Taken from the record is killer new track ‘Awaking Dream’, and we’ve got a first look at Nanna Dalunde’s beautiful accompanying video. Heavily poetic and driven by a hypnotic drone, the track is matched by a promo of flora and fauna in bloom, rapidly expanding and contracting through the kind of videography which, shot in black and white, would look equally at home in a biology lab or an art gallery.
