Skrillex For Tiny London Gig

Eh?

Those good people at Eat Your Own Ears do all sorts of intimate gigs across the capital, including the ace trio of gigs by The xx that we loved a few months back. Now, they’ve pulled off a bit of a bonkers feat by snagging non-other than Skrillex to play at the Shacklewell Arms, the tiny London venue where we’ve put on the likes of Arabrot and Damo Suzuki, and where you can often find 21-year-olds in grunge fancy dress singing along to Distillers songs on the jukebox, and Blanck Mass having a lager. According to a post on their blog this morning, Skrillex will play the Shacklewell Arms this Sunday, August 26th. The post (view here) is tagged ‘sw4’ and ‘carnival’ so perhaps it’s something to do with that. To get to go, you need to keep an eye on the Eat Your Own Ears Twitter this afternoon.
