Shjrunken Heads Share ‘Cremantique’ Video

The video for the track, from the group's 2020 album 'Neolithic Dog', was born from the COVID-19 lockdown of early 2021

London-based psych group Shjrunken Heads have unveiled a video for their track ‘Cremantique’.

The cut originally appeared on the band’s 2020 debut album Neolithic Dog, and the idea for the video for the track was birthed during the winter COVID-19 lockdown of early 2021. Initially intended to be a small collaboration between the band, director Remy Lamont and prop designer Josie Maprayil, it "quickly turned in to a six month trip down a psychedelic rabbit hole," according to a press release.

The video, which you can watch above, is described as "an adventure of illegal late night film shoots, monster suits, puppeteering, hiding from the police and nearly drowning in a pond." Describing the video as "a supernatural short film," the band said the video deals with "issues of isolation, sleep paralysis and the late night."

The track itself is available as an EP, backed with two remixes, via Shjrunken Heads’ Bandcamp page.
