SHERELLE has been enlisted to mix the next instalment of the fabric presents compilation series.
Out in November, the London DJ’s 27-track set takes in the jungle, footwork and bass music that form a vital part of her DJ sets. The mix features tracks from the likes of DJ Rashad, RP Boo, Tim Reaper, Aphrodite, AceMo and Kush Jones, as well as a new production from SHERELLE herself, titled ‘JUNGLE TEKNAH’.
Speaking about her mix, SHERELLE says: "It’s a dream to have been asked to create a fabric compilation. It’s the first place I went to when I was 18. It was the first mix series that captured my heart when listening to Caspa and Rusko’s FABRICLIVE. I had it on repeat for months on end and it’s what led me to the club four years later. It’s a serious honour to be a part of the lineage of fabric.
"My mix consists of artists that I have been playing throughout my career. It was important to have artists that I have supported from the start to ones that I found recently who make me so excited. They are all a part of the many different phases of what I represent. They are all a part of the beautiful musical history that I always try to show in my mixes."
In addition to a CD and digital release of the mix, there will be a 2xLP release, featuring 12 tracks from the set. You can find the full tracklist for the mix via fabric’s Bandcamp page.
SHERELLE’s contribution to the fabric presents series follows on from the release of Overmono’s mix in July, while SHERELLE recently launched her own BEAUTIFUL label with a compilation that included tracks from Loraine James, Scratcha DVA and more.
fabric will release fabric presents SHERELLE on November 26, 2021.
