Tbilisi-based Mutant Radio has shared the full lineup for its upcoming SHAPE+-supported music showcase.
Taking place at Mutant Radio’s outdoor space this weekend, the event will newly host sets from the likes of Egyptian producer ABADIR; m.a.t.a.d.a.t.a., the moniker of film and theater composer Toms Auniņš; NZIRIA, an experimental project that explores ‘Neomelodic’ music with an emphasis on LGBTQI+ narratives; audiovisual artist Qow; and percussionist Jaka Berger.
They join the previously announced likes of Ale Hop and Maria Bertel on the lineup for the event, which features 12 SHAPE+ artists, as well as Georgian acts selected by the radio station including Nino Davadze, TeTe Noise, TINA & TEDI, and Zesknel.
SHAPE+ describes itself as a "European platform for innovative music and audiovisual art co-financed by the Creative Europe programme." It aims to support "emerging talent, connecting them to local communities and audiences through collaborative residencies with multiple artistic outcomes, commissioned artworks, as well as one-off presentations and performances."
The initiative previously hosted showcases at Berlin’s CTM and Brussels’ Schiev, and will pop up at a number of other European festivals throughout the year, including Ukraine’s Construction.
