SHAPE+ Platform Announces Artists’ Open Call

European music and audiovisual art platform SHAPE+ works with new artists across residencies, commissions and more

SHAPE+, the European platform that aims to foster innovative new music and audiovisual art, has announced an open call for emerging artists as it gears up for its next working period.

Applications to be involved are open until March 31, and can be put forward via the form here. 45 artists will be selected for the project’s second year of operation, which runs from July 15, 2023 until July 14, 2024.

SHAPE+, which is partly funded by the European Union, aims to foster emerging talent via collaborative residencies, commissioned work, one-off presentations and performances. Its roster is a combination of open call and curated acts, selected by the programme’s group of 15 participating venues and festivals.
